What a great couple of cakes this Dairy Queen did. Thanks so much for making a his and a hers pre wedding cakes. His was in camo and so masculine. Hers was pink and roses. The staff did a great job for us. Thanks to our home town Dairy Queen!

Went in for the bathroom and a small bit of ice cream. Happily, they had the cherry coating for the ice cream, which a lot of places don't have. We caught them (unintentionally) at closing, and they were friendly and didn't try to just kick us out.

Hadn't been to a DQ in awhile, came here while I was waiting for the Dial A Ride bus. This is a typical Dairy Queen. I ordered popcorn shrimp. Was ok. But this chain isn't known for food, they are known for Ice Cream. What do you expect? Ordered a Carmel Sundae, and it was really good, typical of Dairy Queen. Although I ordered popcorn shrimp WITH a drink, the cashier charged me the price WITHOUT a drink, yet still gave me a cup for my drink. (Difference was $1) Ethical quandary: Do you say something or not? I decided to be honest!

This place made me really happy in a painfully nostalgic way. I hadn't been in a DQ since I lived in MT so it was kind of fun hopping back into one with friends for a treat while we stayed at the beach. In MT, it was a major summer thing to go on a drive out to the park or go enjoy the sunshine with a little DQ. Since we were at the beach for the night and getting ready to go back to the hotel to settle in for the night, DQ seemed like the perfect way to end a good day and an exceptional meal over at Anna's. I can never begin to get through anything here on my own, even in a small size. I don't have an incredibly sweet tooth, but I do like a little bit once in a while. I opted for a small hot fudge sundae with fresh sliced bananas on top. Yum! The girl at the counter was really nice, and we even chatted to some of the locals while we watied for our dessert. DQ is old fashioned and small town, and I dig it. The perfect way to cap off a great night and a great trip.

Great value! Onion rings really good. Could tell the oil was fresh. Expanded menu! Being vegetarian I enjoyed the veggie quesadilla and having the choice of salads.

Ok... There are new owners now. Everyone seems friendly, and aware of customer service. Buns fell apart, but the custom order I requested came out as ordered. This is an improvement, hope they continue on this path. This is the original review: When I ask what a restaurant puts on a their hamburgers, and the person behind the counter says: "Honey, I don't make them... I just take the orders", I've got to think there is a big disconnect between the public interface and the kitchen. 2 out of 3 times, I've gotten the wrong stuff on my burgers. Order it stock, or be prepared to try to explain what you want, multiple times, and still have it be wrong. It's not that tough to figure out what a customer wants on a burger. This particular location seems content to hire brain-dead counter persons, or not train them appropriately. Either way, this place is the absolute worst, if you want something any different than than their standard method of preparation. I have explained as clearly as I can, what I want, but it doesn't seem to get past the order taker to the cook. Food was OK... dealing with the order taker was excruciating! "Oops... I need to re-input the order". "Wait... what did you want on it?". "Slow down, I'm still trying to figure out which button to push". "I don't know what a quarter pounder is, just give me the number". Three different people on three different occasions. This was not a single new person problem, this is a management problem.

Okay... I figured we couldn't go wrong. You kinda know what you're after when you load into a DQ on the go with a few grandchildren in tow. Ahhh... but we were wrong. That "same great taste" we anticipated in the "same ol' order" just somehow didn't taste quite the same or half as great. Too much mustard! Since we didn't order ice cream, I'm not setting about to critique it. But I can say I've had FAR better burgers at other DQ's. Even the kids didn't seem to like their food, and they are fans of our local DQ. Maybe we caught them on an extra-mustardy day or something. If I revisit, I'll definitely order far more carefully. But I'm not in a rush to return.
